Two Holiday books in one!
The Rocking Chair
Ivy felt a strange pull to the antique sewing rocking chair that the very handsome Gideon brought to her woodworking and refinishing shop to be restored. Or, perhaps, her attraction was to Gideon himself?
He certainly captured her attention by threatening to spank her if she didn't have the chair finished by Christmas. What she did not count on were the dreams or nightmares the chair was responsible for! In those dreams, she was Mary Rose, a young wife with a stern husband who believed in spanking his bride, and then sitting her upon the hard wooden seat of the rocking chair to think about her behavior and suffer the full effects of her sore and stinging posterior.
Ivy felt the spankings, and she knew exactly what Mary Rose was thinking and feeling - just as though she herself was Mary Rose. What's more, Gideon looked and sounded like Aaron! Try as she might, Ivy couldn't quite convince herself that the rocking chair did not have something to do with the dreams.
The Christmas Help
Gardiner Hayes was desperate. His grandmother was insisting that he bring his fiancee home for the Christmas holidays, but he didn't have a fiancee! He had lied about that when Gram was ill, and now he has to produce the wonderful female. He decided to hire a down on her luck actress by the name of Charity to play the part and only hoped that she would fool his Gram and not bring on another heart attack.
Ginger Hayes was just as desperate as her brother. She had no fiance, but when her boss, Reid, heard her sobbing, he forced the whole story out of her. He spanked her for lying, but then insisted he would play the part of her fiance over the holidays. Neither Charity nor Reid thought the other was in love with the Hayes heir in question, and each vowed to protect the sweet grandmother from the other!
