This Chimericana Books digital publication is the first time all the key concepts of Hertzan Chimera Unit or HC Unit Theory and Universal Equilibrium have been gathered together in one publication. Wherever possible, I've listed the entries chronologically, and this for me is far more important than rewriting the theory to fit my current understanding of it. As you'll see, there've been several varying HC Unit architectures built upon the original 1985 foundation.
It's not even that big a 'thesis' at 12,000 words and it's no degree piece.
That initial HC Unit article for Dementia 13 was a 'sarcasto-serious' attempt to re-appraise Contemporary Science's approach to the theoretical (rhymes with heretical) universe we live in but it all got out of hand and the fake-science spawned a horror-writing nightmare.
You'll notice, if you're awake (and/or aware) that Chimericana Books has published a companion piece to this book called Hertzan Chimera - THE KEYBOARD ENTITY. The writing name Hertzan Chimera was lifted directly from this Dementia 13 article, because of the way it could be one thing, and another thing entirely, at the same time: a literary chimera. The companion book deals with the life and death of this invented writing persona, and it says a lot about why there's a science/fictional dichotomy in much of the horror writing of the once-rampant writing unit.
The Hertzan Chimera Entity was the writer that was never supposed to be.
The Hertzan Chimera Unit that spawned his pseudonym was 'that daft sci-fi plaything' we were never supposed to take any further.
Look what happened.
