I once heard this saying that not all heroes wear capes, which is extremely true. You know, I wasn't always this courageous. Like, courageous with my writing. Talking about shit that's beyond personal. I'm telling my audience things about me that I haven't even told my own family, which is okay. Not that any of them cared. I'm telling you, writing? Writing has saved my life. I attempted suicide twice. Did I succeed??? No. I'm glad that I didn't. No matter how bad my depression gets, I know that I have something to live for. I live to create. I live to use art as medicine for the soul. I use this to help others. I don't have to brag about the work I've done. When you're blessed, you become humble... ya' feel?
