Heowcruise is set partly in the hot Central Valley of California. It is a story of honesty, friendship, glamor, enthusiasm, wanton materialism and sexual frustration and is full of quirky humor and strange lingo. Torka Reaton is a recent high school graduate who has nothing on the horizon- until a chance encounter sends her on a collision course with four other rebellious teens whose IQs are through the roof but who suffer from serious lack of motivation when it comes to following their families' life plans.
