Leadership in the church is both a basic requirement and a significant problem. For every congregation that has benefitted from good leadership, there is at least one more that has suffered from bad leadership. This Bible Study has been prepared to help church leaders focus on their call to leadership and activity as leaders in the church. Through the use of Scripture, prayer and guided meditation, the readers are encouraged to think about themselves and their relationship to God and those they have been called to lead. It is not meant to be a textbook on leadership styles and characteristics but rather seeks to provide a leader with the opportunity to pray and reflect on their call and how to serve God effectively as leaders.

The Bible study is meant to be used daily for eight weeks. Each day, the readers will use Scripture, a meditation, questions and prayers to understand more about themselves and what it means for them to be a Christian leader.
