Many books have been written about the heart, liver, kidney, brain, and colon, but one vital organ has been consistently overlooked. The pancreas. Where is the pancreas? What does it do? Can the pancreas produce more natural digestive enzymes? Too few people know the answers, as the pancreas only becomes a topic of conversation when it is already too late.

Almost 50 % of the population has digestive problems such as gas, bloating, heartburn, abdominal cramps or pain, diarrhea and/or constipation. These are all symptoms of diminished pancreatic function, saying there is a dangerously low amount of pancreatic digestive enzyme, and low quality of “aggressive” bile. The weak pancreas causes digestive problems while, at the same time, digestive problems in and of themselves can negatively influence the health of the pancreas.

The current general pandemic of digestive disorders is closely associated to the modern epidemic of intestinal dysbiosis (Candida-yeast overgrowth and Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) and the increasing rate of metabolic acidosis (whole body acidity), causing a vicious cycle of damage. Acidity kills the pancreas. Low pancreatic functions result in overweight, metabolic syndrome and diabetes.

This book is unusual because all of the chapters include two sections: the first breaks down the medical issues into real words “for individuals lacking a medical background”, the second addresses for individuals with medical backgrounds. This last section is for doctors, health care practitioners, and people to examine serious medical research about pancreatic health.

In part 1 of “Healthy Pancreas, Healthy You” authors explain the connections between pancreas and dyspepsia, IBS, sphincter of Oddi dysfunction, GERD, gallbladder stones, pancreatitis, dysbiosis, metabolic acidosis, alcoholism.

This book is an attempt for a fresh and deep, holistic look into the pancreas, its structure, and function as a vital organ for whole body.
In simple steps, book will help:
- Realize the critical role of pancreas for the human body
- Recognize three pandemics, which cause the digestive disorders
- Find three stages of decreasing of exocrine pancreatic function: functional (reversible), structural (partial reversible), and final
- Focus on healing digestive (pancreatic) diseases in their early stages to stop the pancreatic failure.
