When Lewis Emery talks Paul Montagno out on a Mission Trip by his church to Alaska, the plans quickly change for the two of them. They will not fly to Alaska with the rest of the group. No...no..no...They will try to drive an old farm truck loaded with donated supplies from Alliance, Ohio to Kodiak, Alaska.

What starts out as a not-so-great idea quickly devolves from a plan, to a poor plan, to almost no plan. This ends up as a comedy of mishaps and a very funny mini-adventure.

Paul invites the reader into the front seat with them as they trundle out of town, wondering what the next couple of miles will bring...and whether this adventure was really a fool's mission. The simple words tell the story. Beyond the words some may find an affirmation of faith in their fellow man and/or faith in The Divine, as these two travelers get unexpected help from many sources along the way.
