Jack Lafoot continues his life adventures with Shelly Straight his girlfriend, as they prepare for their wedding day. Last Christmas in the middle of Jem City Park all lit up with lights, a manger scene and snowstorm, Jack got down on one knee and asked her hand in marriage. He gave her a huge diamond ring.

Shelly graduated from Physical Therapy School. After her graduation, ceremony that night, Jack planned a party at their favorite nightspot called Alley Burger Entertainment Center. Shelly was quite surprised and overwhelmed seeing her friends and family.

Mike and Jack are EMT ambulance partners and became a “well oiled machine,” saving lives. Captain Black their current boss was an inspiration to all at the Jem City Ambulance Base. Their ambulance transports included critical care of patients to Rehabs, Dialysis Clinics, and doctor visits at various hospitals and offices. During Emergency 911 calls, Ambulance 56 was the team on scene during fire rescue and crime scene stand-bys. Jack and Mike were in pretty-tight, with the Jem City

Homicide Detectives, Dan Demarco, and Brian Leman, two of the best for Jem City. Detective Brian Leman was single and fond of Emily Straight, Shelly’s mother. Emily was the head nurse at the Jem City Hospital Emergency Room. Brian asked her out on a date and after a couple of days thinking about it, she said, “yes.” They continued their bonding, and dating several more times, becoming boy and girlfriend.

Street gangs from the Jem City projects were acting up. Brutal games on the basketball courts for money took place. Gangs like the Head Bangers, Black Hawks, and Hell Hoopers to speak of a few conquered their enemies. A particular group called the Head Bangers led by Lenny the gang leader went to extremes for cold hard cash. This included armed robbery and heartless murders, as they stopped at nothing. One thing led to another… the Head Bangers hooked up with Germane and his people, who specialized in complicated Heists and prostitution. Strategically, they planned a major robbery in a bank downtown. It was the perfect heist; they would make millions if they pulled it off !

Jack and Shelly while out doing last minute errands for their wedding, somehow stepped into a major crime. Will they live through this to see tomorrow? Their chances are slim as the outcome unravels chapter after chapter.
