"Penumbra Orphanage blaze is all but forgotten. As a fodder of ghost stories took its place. On the anniversary of the fire multiple witnesses claimed to see a bright light emanating from the shell of the structure. Exactly like the fire glow on Halloween night 1965. However there was no fire on that night a year later. In the blaze thirteen children had died, and one went missing. The girls body was never found. The remains of those children killed in the fire were buried on the property. Which quickly started a whole pack of tales about wailing children. All coming from every inch of Penumbra Orphanage property. Seemingly that the children were still to this day haunting the grounds. Though some years later Penumbra Orphanage had since been rebuilt, seemingly overnight. So fastidiously were the repairs no one seems to remember an exact date. In all good will the Orphanage has continued its admiral service in helping destitute children. Hopefully with many years to come."
