Grief and Disappearance is one of the few studies about the impact of disappearance and the psychosocial and therapeutic interventions required for grieving relatives.

This book examines the theoretical background of grief and gives an insight into the nature and complexity of grief and mourning. Further, it describes various conflicts that arise out of the loss of a loved one in the context of disappearance.
