Hello and thank you for buying this book, we shall start out by introducing the characters that you will be reading about as you embark upon your journey. Now first off let's clarify something as the title may be a bit confusing, the story graveyard is not about a burial place rather the shift which people in this story work at their particular jobs.

The late shift, sometimes referred to as third shift frequently called graveyard shift the characters that will be described throughout this story work this graveyard shift, it may have heard either your father or mother having told you at some point in your life that nothing good happens after twelve midnight for those working the graveyard shift this precautionary rule always doesn't apply.

This story is set in the backdrop of an Arizona city known as Tucson its population slightly over a half a million plus a booming metropolis where people from all different walks of life can be found many having moved there for various reasons older citizens with arthritic conditions living there finding their conditions more conducive to the warmer weather and many others having chosen to live there in the warmer climate as even during the winter months very seldom as Tucson afflicted by extreme cold or snow.

We shall begin to introduce the characters you will read about as you embark upon your journey throughout this book; each of these characters has different lifestyles and different personality’s income brackets and each coming from quite different walks in life.

Our first character is Ms. Julie Phillies, 40 years old she is a registered nurse otherwise known as an RN she is working at the Memorial hospital on the graveyard shift in the emergency room she having been there five years she has encountered a great many things over her career.
Divorced a mother having one child her daughter Sheila nine years old, her ex-husband Danny Phillies a deadbeat father unemployed an alcoholic and a former addict receiving methadone treatments in and out of homeless shelters too lazy to work survives by panhandling.

Our second character is Ms. Terry Buderwood 22 years old she is a cashier working at a fast food restaurant that is open 24 hours a day, having gotten herself pregnant at the age of twenty she has a daughter Alisha two years old which lives with her parents they raising the child after she was removed by social services after it was discovered that Terry had an addiction to crack cocaine.
After having undergone drug rehabilitation she is allowed to see her daughter Alisha under the condition of supervised visitation, on HUD she is living in a low income apartment complex her rent based on her income she on Medicaid and drawing food stamps as well.
Though dating she still is living alone but far from being celibate as horny Alisha still as horny as she had been in high school she had gotten laid every opportunity she had during her teenage years, and despite having gotten pregnant at the age of twenty she was still horny as ever and got laid as often as the opportunity presented itself yet now being a tad bit more selective about it.
