A coming of age story, Giggles Goes Gone is an ADVENTURE story about two young boys who embark on a JOURNEY through the formidable NORTH WOODS of Minnesota on an EPIC QUEST. On a vacation trip to go fishing and enjoy the outdoors, Alex brings his beloved cat, Mr. Giggles, along for the ride to the woods. An enjoyable family vacation is spoiled when Mr. Giggles gets spooked by a dog and runs into the formidable Minnesota wilderness. Alex and his cousin then spend the weekend searching for him. What started out as a simple day trip in search for a beloved lost cat, turns into a life changing trek of self-discovery. The boys encounter wild animals, fight off dehydration and encounter a mysterious woman while in the midst of a dangerous super-cell TORNADO. They realize that PEOPLE are NOT always WHAT THEY SEEM and even come to QUESTION their own FAMILY. The boys endure PHYSICAL, emotional and SPIRITUAL tribulations while trying to come to terms with themselves and each other.
