Suzanne Hurley worked as a youth minister in a Catholic parish and a chaplain in a Catholic high school for almost thirty years. Originally, she thought her ministry would be more of a teaching role - to guide young people to a greater union with God. Instead Hurley discovered that it was not she who taught them, but young people who taught her.
