Getting Flight

Wheeler embarks on his second adventure, sent out into the world after his navy career by his good friend Emil. His last adventure had left him feeling soiled by the dirty money and the white collar crooks and he just wanted to get out to the open spaces of the less populated, rural Middle America. He still maintained his need to help and protect but he was looking for a bit of down time in the quiet, slow pace of a small town.

What he actually uncovers is a scheme to use those innocent airplanes to deliver a devastating blow to the fabric of America and retaliate for the deeds done to the not so innocent parts of the world. Wheeler must use all of his skills developed over a lifetime and he can only hope that it will be enough. He must recruit assistance from the most unlikely sources, coordinate plans for defense way beyond his station and ensure that America is protected, if he can pull it off.
