A new book by Bruce Epler, Galápagos Visionary and Chronicler This intriguing and unique book summarizes the history of a species that only recently, at least in geological time, arrived in the Galápagos Islands: MAN. While literally thousands of scientific, newspaper and magazine articles, natural history guidebooks and television specials have extolled the remarkable natural history of the islands, few authors have addressed their intriguing five hundred years of human history.
