From Orphan to Queen is the sixth book in The Crown Series and it’s all about a Jewish girl named Hadassah. This Bible heroine, who we know as Esther, lived at the time when God’s judgment had come down on the nation of Israel and its people had been taken into captivity by the Persian Empire. When Esther was a young teenager, she was taken from her family and forced into a beauty pageant, and then chosen to be queen to the cruelest and most brutal man ever to reign.

It was during her early years as the queen that Esther learned the king had approved a decree set up by his evil governor to annihilate every single Jewish person in the land. But God had a plan to stop it, and Esther soon realized that she was part of God’s plan to save the Jewish nation. She knew God would protect her even when she put her life at risk because, in her heart, she knew that she’d been born for a time such as this.

This book is focused on biblical truth, highlighted with God’s power, and underlined with emotion. It’s also accented with a bit of humor as once again, Grandpa reads it to his grandson who is full of questions. It’s written in a storybook format to enable children, new believers and readers of every age to understand who Esther was and how God gave her the courage to save the nation of Israel.
