Pride is the worst type of spiritual cancer ever to devastate mankind and the body of Christ. Ever so subtle like its source the Devil, even the most confident saint hardly recognizes the creeping in of pride. In spite of his great wisdom, Lucifer could not detect the trap of pride that cost him his place in heaven. Pride has destroyed more human beings and believers that any other sin.

It threw Lucifer out of God’s heaven. It cost King Saul his throne. David incurred God’s wrath through pride when he went to number his troops.King Solomon was destroyed by pride. In his glorious days, Solomon was virtually un-deceivable. Nobody could deceive him. Unfortunately, he did not reckon with the spirit of pride. Pride deceived Solomon.

Our psychologists teach that pride is a healthy human virtue. This is a terrible lie straight from the pit of hell. The pride you nurture today will put you in the pit tomorrow. No sin is more difficult to detect than pride. No sin is more difficult to confess. No sin is more resistant to overcome for even when people get humble; they are soon tempted to get proud about their humility.

No sin is more like Satan’s nature. To be proud is to attract Satan unto your life. The Devil fellowships with them and they know it not. God resists them. Many human problems today are caused by God’s judgment on pride! No deliverance minister can break the curse of pride. The curse of pride guarantees divine opposition at every turn of the road. Intercession will not cure pride. The key to the cure of pride lies in the hands of the proud.

As you read this book, expect CHANGES.

You will not remain the same.
