Forever “Special”

It was dark and it was raining. Every member of the rescue team from the small mountain town of Whitefish, Montana was needed tonight to save the occupants of the car which had left the twisting mountain road and was at the base of the sheer canyon wall over a hundred feet below. Temperatures were dropping and the rain kept falling as the rescue team fought to bring Toni Glasgow and Sally Edwards to safety … two beautiful sixteen year old girls who were coming home after spending the summer working at a camp for “special” children. Toni Glasgow’s life as she knew it was over and she has to literally begin again. Follow her story as this beautiful, active teenager faces life challenges – without her sight. Sally Edwards also lives through the accident, only to struggle for survival under the domination of a cruel, alcoholic father. Her life turns into a nightmare, but by sheer determination she climbs to great heights, even though she will never walk again. Steve and Scott Morse, twin classmates of the two accident victims, find their lives uniquely intertwined with these two special young women, beginning the day of the accident. Follow the lives of these four courageous young people, whose faith helps them take on the challenges presented to them in a world that is difficult in the best times, let alone for someone who is Forever “Special.”
