Emerson Page has managed to make her way to senior year at her Beverly Hills High School generally unscathed. In fact, she and her best friend Wes wear the unofficial boring outcasts badge with pride..
But all that is about to change when Emerson falls head over heels in love...with her English teacher, Jake Matthews. Her feelings are reciprocated, and the two soon embark on a dangerous love affair.
When Jake suggests the pair create some distance between themselves until Emerson finishes school she begrudgingly obliges, knowing all too well the risks involved in their perilous affair being uncovered.
However it seems it could be too little too late, as Emerson realises someone has been watching the pair in their most private, intimate moments.
