Protection is just what he does. Charles and his business partner, Alex, run a personal security business, and business is booming. He knows he shouldn’t mix business with pleasure, and the opportunities to do that just keep piling up.

When his new web developer, Kennedy, lets slip that she’s having some problems, he can’t turn away. No matter how confusing his new feelings for her are, she needs help, and the kind of help she needs is what he’s best at. This new job for the company, though, added to the other work they have – now they have to add on new employees.

Administrative work is not his favorite part of the job, but things look up when the incredibly handsome and charismatic Jacob walks in to interview. Charles is drawn to him immediately.
