Finesse not Force is a "must have" for all female skiers. It is designed to help them get the most out of the ski-ing experience, whether new to it, improving and finding problems progressing, or more experieced but have hit a plateau. Girls ski differently to guys and most progressions currently in common use do not allow for these differences which can make or break the whole wintersports experience. This book gives an insight into them and is full of useful hints and tips on how to get round common problems. It is written for the female market in general, and, although a number of centres are utilising it as recommended reading for their instructors, it is not primarily a technical manual, but is aimed at females of any ski-ing standard. We trust that you will enjoy reading it.

This review is from: Finesse Not Force - ski-ing for girls of all ages (Spiral-bound)
My son and my partner have been leaving me for dead on the downhills for some years now, and I never really appreciated why. The exercises and explanations in this little book have given me my confidence to enjoy my skiing so much more, and best of all - I've caught them up again. Now, every once in a while, I get to stand at the bottom of a run and wait for them! Result x
