This is a true story of radical obedience in the face of the impossible. I found myself immersed in the post cold war Soviet Union during a time of tremendous brokenness and dire spiritual need. God had called me to do something about the desperate condition of the young people in this hurting area of the world but the challenges were insurmountable. I was traveling on a one way ticket to Russia and a five dollar bill in my pocket, not sure that I would even find a way home much less succeed in my assignment. There was still four months and six countries to navigate and I found myself walking the only road available... the road of radical faith, obedience and miracles.
