Facing Forty

Jeff Baxter is a successful businessman married to a loving wife Linda, who along with his sister Patty and mother Gloria plan a surprise 40th birthday party for him at his favorite restaurant surrounded by his best friends. The problem is that Jeff doesn't want to turn 40, and experiences a sudden panic attack that leaves both his family and friends worried and puzzled. Jeff tries to shrug it off as nothing more than being overwhelmed by his surprise party, but it soon escalates into a full-blown mid-life crisis, as Jeff begins to change his views, values and lifestyle. Sitting down at his desk one day, Jeff composes a list of things he has always wanted to accomplish but lacked the motivation to follow through on. Now, having turned 40, Jeff feels a sudden need to pursue his long-term goals, resulting in some bizarre and even dangerous exploits. Facing Forty follows Jeff's journey through a series of adventures from haunted houses, Marathon races, skydiving, to saving someone's life, and forever changing his own.
