Lieutenant Colonel Laura Fox Den is the first woman to command an F-22 Raptor squadron. Widowed five years before in a terrorist attack, she is left with two kids and a heavy psychological burden. Assisted by her mentor and close friend, Colonel John Wart Hogge, she becomes immersed with other secretive players trying to stop the conflict before it destroys the peace in Asia, revives what has been called The Forgotten War, and kills millions of refugees caught between two armies.
