The Ecosave Club was first established in 2010 and has actively been engaging in various environmental activities ever since. Some of the activities we have done include holding educational workshops for younger elementary students, engaging in street campaigns, and going on service trips. Our one and most important reason for doing what we do is to help others, especially younger students, understand and learn about the different environmental issues that exist in the world today. Our blog page that includes our activities and interests can be found in the link below.

We, as a club, have recently been interested in insects. Many may wonder why, but despite how some insects may pester you, they are actually extremely beneficial to the environment. Eating edible insects, for example, not only provides two times the protein meat provides but also reduces carbon dioxide output by three times compared to regular meat. We hope to pique the interest of many others and change the general attitude towards insects.

With the donations we get, we plan to hold more educational workshops for elementary students. We also plan to start a business with edible insect cookies. In the near future, insects will one day be our protein replacement, with minimal negative effects on the environment. The donations will help us buy our supplies for starting the business and even hold cooking classes for anyone interested.

The book illustrates the endangered species around the globe in detail, and raises awareness of them for children.
