The year is 1990 and the teenage John Watson is to be found spending his holiday in the wilds of Devon with his sister Flick, their cousin Chris, her dog Ambrose and Tom, the handsome boy next door. But what would a summer holiday in Devon be without mysterious men meeting on Dartmoor, dastardly sons of the local landowner trying to blackmail you, strange Irish men taking photographs of old military bases and a train trip to London that ends in disaster?
As Watson regales him with the tale of his teenage years, Holmes is fascinated by an event at the absent Dr Martin’s flat. Though tenants have been evicted for shooting a porn film there, Holmes is suspicious that their filming interest actually lies in an apartment across the courtyard. But who is the mystery person that Detective Garrigues is so determined to keep Holmes from?
Join Watson and Holmes as John recalls the first mystery he ever solved while Holmes examines a complicated future for them with a number of problems that might not be resolved easily.
