We are Echthroi. We have been shunned and persecuted through the centuries until we became nothing more than a myth, a scary story told on a stormy night. Jax had a special talent besides being Echthroi; he was a Pyramancer. When the other members of the Hive were sent to kill, Jax was sent to burn and his newest mission is no different. Burning the Louvre sounded like fun until he ran into a golden eyed blond named Chloe who worked there. When Chloe is accused of murder all of Jax’s plans change. He is still determined to complete his mission but can he save Chloe before it’s too late? And will she ever be able to forgive him if he does?
