Dying to Get to the Future

Richard Green had doubted if he and his wife Helen would ever survive into the future. After all, Cryonics was still in its infancy when they’d signed up to be frozen. But she’d been convinced it would work so he’d happily followed. When he realised it had actually worked, it took a long time to accept. They were now looking forward to having their family and friends join them. It had been a long time since they’d all died. Of course, they wouldn’t get here in the same way. They'd not been frozen. They were going to be retrieved from the past, at the very point they died! iSys, the descendant of the Internet, had developed the ability to manipulate time. And at the point of death was able to transfer people’s dying minds into one of our artificial bodies. But now, some of these ‘retrievees’ are being taken by a mysterious black form. And when iSys discovers the disturbing truth that links the victims together, the consequences could mean the destruction of the very universe itself!
