Ducks in the Rain was written as a song by Chris one day as she rode her bike in the rain.... Do ducks care if it is raining? Probably not - it’s all the same for the ducks in the rain. The book evolved adding many verses and was sung by many kindergarten and first grade classes when Chris and Rebecca taught school. This book does not have the music with it, but you could make something up. After all, what is music, but the magical humming of someone. Why not you and your child? Chris and Rebecca began writing these books with the idea that, some day, children all over the world would be able to enjoy the adventures of the Happys. Both Chris and Rebecca are retired school teachers who have written over 100 stories. Rebecca lives in upstate NY and raises Arabian horses, cats, fish, and more. Chris lives near Phoenix, Arizona and loves to be outdoors. They both have a commitment to bring fun, uplifting, positive stories to children throughout the world.
