What do you do with a shape-shifting dragon? Send in a princess to use her feminine wiles to convince him to stay in human form, of course. While he's busy dallying with her, he isn't raiding farms, and terrorizing the community. Problem solved. Actually two problems solved at once, no more dragon and one less single princess. This short story explores what happens when the dragon doesn't fall for the princess's ploy and she decides to take her game up a notch.

The valley has a dragon, a nice well-behaved one who pays for his mutton. Still that's one dragon too many. After carefully training a princess, the wizard Bloom dispatches her to ensnare him into human form with her feminine wiles. The trouble is, he rather likes being a dragon. People, even princes and princesses are just so puny and powerless. After returning to her wizard, the princess finds she agrees with the dragon's viewpoint and sets off on a quest to become a dragon herself.
