An Aquillan female is granted access to the Earth plain by the Continuum Council and the American government with the objective of sourcing a human male mate. Back on Aquillia, its male species have become sterile due to a virus that plagues all the Continuum plains. Research over many years has resulted in the possibility of a Human/Aquillia alliance. One female is conditioned to be impregnated by human sperm to give birth to a half human, half Aquillan child. The child would need to be born back on Aquillia and become the savior of their species.
Upon accessing the earth plane near San Francisco, the female Aquillan is followed by its mate. In an unconditioned state the male Aquillan behaves in a jealous manner resulting in the murder of a human
The Continuum's Project Earth Director, Max Von Konstein is asked to intervene and limit any negative impact. Max in turn calls for his half human, half vampire colleague,Robert Maldron, to visit the small town of Spear Point, the point of entry into this world. There Maldron confronts both Aquillan only to find that the female was pregnant all along by her Aquillan mate. The visit to earth has triggered the pregnancy.
