Doreen is a nerdy, overweight, less-than-graceful young lady about to enter her first year of high school. So far, her social life has been an unhappy mix of awkward and nonexistent. When, during her very first moments at the school she becomes the victim of her own physical clumsiness, she suddenly finds herself handling the situation better than she thought she could. And when she discovers that a very attractive young man had not only been watching, but had appreciated her reaction, Doreen begins to believe there's hope after all. Only time - and the determination to make being a geek a good thing - will tell.
