This short story is taken from the script of the homonymous show, for large stick marionettes and puppets on black by Habanera Teatro, produced in 2009, of which also shows several pictures.

    The dialogues have remained virtually unchanged and the descriptive part is trying to return the experience of the show: visual, with scenes, characters, movements and lights; hearing, with sounds, noises and voices.
    Scenes, costumes and figures, sculpted in foam, are by Patrizia Ascione
    Texts, adaptation and direction of the show are by Stefano Cavallini
    The very brief introductions to some musical scenes (only for the audiobook), which in Spanish announce what will happen, are taken from Don Quijote de la Mancha by Jordi Savall, performed with the Capella Reial de Catalunya, with original instruments; music suggested to me some time ago by the friend Carlo de Incontrera.
    Finally our Dulcinea sing the “Cuccurucù” from the film The Armata Brancaleone directed by Mario Monicelli, as tasty digression.
