Natalie moved to New York right out of high school, determined to make her dreams of becoming an interior designer come true. After spending the first few years struggling and barely scraping by, she is faced with a choice: drop out of school and move back home, or accept a job offer as an exotic dancer at an elite night club.
Not one to give up, Natalie accepts the job, and a few years later finds that not only was it the best choice for her financially, but she actually enjoys her job. Student by day, dancer by night. Living a double life was working out great for her, that is until a face from her past shows up in the crowd.
The one person she never wanted to see again, Tex Williams, the man who broke her heart, was staring right at her.
Stepping outside to get fresh air after her set, Natalie finds herself alone in the alley with Tex, who gives her two options; she can leave with him or he will tell her parents what she's been doing for a living. Unable to bear the thought of her parents finding out, she agrees to go back to her apartment with him, although she has a feeling her decision won't be good for her bottom. Tex had always been an old-fashioned man, one who wouldn't be too keen on finding his high school sweetheart dancing half-naked on stage for money, even if their relationship had ended.
Natalie had a feeling it was going to be a long night, the only question that remained was whether or not he would leave her heart in one piece when he left.
This is a short story of about 6500 words.
