Police Lieutenant Sonny Austin believes in the system but she distrusts defense attorneys. One look at new public defender Nate Robbins tells her he’s too good looking, too cocky, and too sure his client is innocent. They both detest murder. When Sonny arrests a homeless man for killing a local college professor, the lead investigator and the defense attorney in Dirty Laundry circle each other like magnets about to collide. He may be able to charm juries into putting scum back on the street, but will he manage to charm her? Nate Robbins sees his client as innocent without overwhelming evidence to the contrary. He sees Sonny as a fascinating and beautiful woman as well as an honest, ass-busting cop. If he can get the cop to find evidence proving his client innocent, maybe he can get the woman into his bed.
