Ash doesn't know that Rocco hides an enormous secret in his pants. Detectives Rocco Pounder and Ash Hunter are partners on a stake-out in the bodybuilding mecca of Venice California. Shamus Little, a handsome steroid dealer, is their mark. When Shamus recognizes Rocco and his legendary member, the tables turn. What started as a search for a drug kingpin devolves into a drug-fueled orgy.

This work of short erotic fiction is one of several written by Peter in the 1970s. It features another appearance by Shamus Little, the short body builder with a big rear and a tiny endowment. He built his body for one purpose, and he never fails to amaze. Dirty Cop was written in 1977 or 1978. Around this time, there were a number of “buddy cop” stories in movies and television. Peter said the inspiration for the characters Ash Hunter and Rocco Pounder came from an Italian polizziotto called “Live Like a Cop, Die Like a Man.” Tasked with doing “whatever it takes” to bring down a drug ring in Venice, California, the two cops discover just how close they have become. Ash and Rocco reveal hidden secrets about their friendship and their anatomy.
The story deals with common themes in many if not all of Peter's works: oversized genitals, drugs, masculine environments, weightlifting, and friendship between men.
Because it is a short story, the characters are a bit wooden. Whatever dimensions they lack in their personalities are more than made up for in spatial dimensions!
