This book contains four short stories (in diary form) from the first few years of the lives of two elven brothers, Maxwell and Skippy. Find our what happened when they went racing at Kempton Park, what lay hidden inside the hollow branch, what gifts the two squirrels bought and what happened at the Dance of the Hunters Moon. This ebook provides additional background to a series of short stories called "The Elven Adventures" and gives more information about the main two characters. In these tales, the reader is taken through a succession of adventures and quests (through the eyes of these two young brothers) and is introduced to some of the strange friends that they meet on their travels. An element of humour and a love of all things natural are maintained in many of these stories. However, the main central theme in all of these stories of the series is the bond that exists between the two young characters and how their enduring friendship helps them to overcome the difficulties that they often face together.
This story is beautifully illustrated with numerous magical images, composed by Skippy Beresford.
