Nineteen more followed, including his best seller, Die For Me, about serial killers Leonard Lake and Charles Ng. In 2005, Lasseter returned to his interest in WWII, and wrote "Their Deeds of Valor" about U.S. airmen shot down in France and funneled through underground escape lines.
