Depending on the source, the number of Christians who claim affiliation with as many as 33,000 plus denominations across the world ranges from 1.87 to 2.1 billion. That’s 33,000 plus denominations all claiming to be of a “Christian” faith. I mean, for Christ’s sake; how many “Christ’s” are there?  Would it surprise you to know that the various denominational doctrines have an ulterior agenda that may be in conflict with the real intent of the gospel? It begs the question, how many people who sit in the pews of these organizations know with any certainty that the teachings and religious practices as propagated by their chosen denomination is a correct understanding of the gospel? In other words, how many of you are just mooing?

Likewise, how many atheists, agnostics, or “non-religious” people have already rejected the notion of a God without even knowing what the Bible actually says, apart from the messages offered by the 33,000 or so denominations among us today? The same people who put their faith in the doctrines of the scientists and secular philosophers preaching the “gospel” that God does not exist. I ask the same question. How many of you are just mooing?

In an effort to share my thoughts with as wide an audience as possible, motivated by honest passion and conviction, I’ve written about a spiritual “key” shown to me a number of years ago by a good friend. With this key, anyone can pick up the Bible, read it AND understand it to the extent they can know for themselves what the gospel of Jesus Christ truly is and more importantly, what it isn’t. With this understanding, the reader will face a spiritual quandary where you will have to choose between what you think you know or what you’ve learned, and what you see behind the door opened by this key.  This is what I believe is real Christianity as compared to traditional, organized religion; people seeking God on an individual basis instead of just mooing along with every other religious Christian while often wondering, “Is this really what God wants from me”?

Cows in the Pews and the Atheists Too, intends to prod you to think again about your faith so that you may know, once and for all, whether what you believe is what God wants you to believe.
