The book starts at 1999. That is far as I can remember. I was raped and given genital herpes from the guy that raped me. I was taken away from my mom at age ten. I was confused because I wanted to be with my mom. I didnt understand why I couldnt go home and live with my mom. I was a confused girl. I struggled with authorities. I was oppositional.
