The Madman and the Pirate (1883)-

Another production for boys from the pen of their old friend, Mr. R. M. Ballantyne, and equal, in the interest attaching to these exciting adventures which boys love, to any of its predecessors.

Chasing the Sun-

Our Hero, Fred Temple, has risen to be a senior manager in the great Liverpool business founded by his father. But he was getting overworked and deeply tired, so one day he announced that he was taking leave for a while and was going to visit Norway in a small yacht.

Under the Waves -

This tale makes no claim to the character of an exhaustive illustration of all that belongs to the art of diving. It merely deals with the most important points, and some of the most interesting incidents connected therewith. In writing it I have sought carefully to exhibit the trueand to ignore the false or improbable.

The Cannibal Islands-

This book describes some of the voyages of Captain Cook to Tahiti and other islands in the Pacific.
