Jason’s tragic childhood and history of being bullied isolates him until Timmy, a friend from the past, presents him with a with an unusual “promposal.” Jason believes he is wearing a gown to the prom because they will trick Kevin, the bully who tortured them as children. But Timmy has another motive—he’s gay and in love with Jason. Dressing as a woman frees Jason from the confines of his past, and he starts a new life as Kari, a beautiful girl in love with an old friend, and she discovers how good it feels to love a man.
