1-10 Murders Along the Way

1 A Sometimes Thing
Short murder mysteries. introduces Clint Faraday, retired pi from Florida who moves to Panama where he aids the police in murder investigations. Things are looked at a little differently in Panama than they were in the states.

2 Daybreak
Clint wakes up to another day in paradise. everything is as perfect as it gets – except for that red sky.
“Red sky in morning, sailors take warning.”
Well, that doesn’t mean much here in Panama’. There are a lot of colorful sunrises.
Then, again....

3 Nightfall
A beautiful night – but most are here.
Clint is having a meal just at nightfall in a restaurant on the water. It’s going to be a truly great evening and things will be perfect.
Of course, that was before he found there was murder on the menu.

4 Shortcuts
Ten short murder mysteries. clint is learning a few things about the differences in the states and in Panama.
5 Dangerous Curves
Clint flies from Panamá City to bocas del toro where a beautiful woman flirts with him. He makes a date with her for that night. Strange things start to happen around him. There is a murder – that she seems to be mixed up in, somehow. Pirate treasure? C'mon!

6 Storm Front
There is a storm front approaching from the southeast. a boatload of cocaine is forced in to near Bocas. There is a torture-murder. Everyone except Clint believes that the two things are connected. At first.

7 Comedy of Terrors
When does the act stop being funny? After the first murder ... or later?
Clint goes on a vacation in the mountains of Calderas with some people who want to visit Panamá.
Some vacation!

8 Omen
Clint looks at the very strange colors in the sunset. It is beautiful, in a weird sort of way – but those colors are just beyond his experience.
silvio, a close Indio friend, says it is an omen. If the colors remain for one minute as they are, it is an omen of good fortune. If the pink intensifies to red, it is an omen of blood. Lots of blood.

9 Follow the Blood
Clint is called by Sergio Sanchez, a good friend with the policia nacional in Bocas del Toro to help with a case of murder among some people he was having some trouble with. The trail leads to another murder, earlier, in Costa Rica. Investigating that leads to yet another in Mexico.
Is it a serial killer of some kind – or is there a very understandable motive?

10 ... Or So the Gods Said
Clint is having an unwanted discussion on the bus with a priest from the Church of Absolute Truth in Life .. or something such. The conversation gets weird. There are always a few nutcases here, so he doesn’t think much of it – until the murders.
