CIRCLE OF LIFE is a compilation of Adrian Webster’s two books Eternal Blue Forever Green and the 40th Anniversary Soccer Bowl 77 Seattle Sounders Vs New York Cosmos. Adrian also covers his recent visit to Seattle where he received one of the Sounder’s top honors, the Golden Scarf.
In 2017, Adrian visited Seattle, the home of the 2016 MLS Champions, where he hadn’t been t in 26 years. The NASL folded and the MLS did not exist. There was a generation of young American soccer players who missed the opportunity to play professional soccer and 40,000 plus fans who were waiting for a new pro team and to win a National Championship.
Adrian’s soccer journey spans almost 50 years with a career that took him from his hometown Colchester to Vancouver Canada and then onto Seattle, Pittsburgh and Phoenix in the USA and finally full circle back home to Colchester where he is now retired.
