I have worked in construction for many years (since 1978) and worked in many countries including the UK, the Channel Islands, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Qatar, Istanbul, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Kuwait. I have enjoyed the work (a bit) and experienced loads of new and interesting things.
However my abiding memory is of the people I have met and whose company I have enjoyed. And they have made me laugh too. Things have happened that are strange, some people are eccentric and funny things have just happened.
That life time of experience I am sharing with you now. The funny chuckles in construction that have happened to me or I have heard about. I have also blended in some other funny stories that I have experienced in my life and I want to share these with you too. The construction angle has been bent a bit to incorporate these but I am sure that you will understand.
I really hope you enjoy this inside track look at construction and it raises a laugh with you, because that is the main reason I wrote it.
