Supernatural Romantic Adventure in a Steampunk Setting

"Even if she wasn't responsible for all this, she was responsible for her own mess, and if it weren't for Tony she'd be lonely… No, that wasn't true. She'd be dead… and lonely."

Chance McCall is the daughter of a professional gambler. She grew up knowing how to play, not just cards, but the players.

She was good, very good. Good enough to make a living from the chumps who visited the gambling dens of The Strip. Good enough to not need a job.

More than that, she loved the games.

Now life's different. One evening the cards started to reveal themselves to her. Then she met a man, a dishy man. A man who can play cards as well as she can, and can play her without any games.

Then mobsters got involved and you won't believe what happens.

_____

So you know, some of the bad guys swear and so does Chance, but not out loud. Oh, and so do some of the good guys, and there are some sexual references, but not enough to interfere with your enjoyment of the novel, unless you bought the novel for sexual references, in which case you'll be disappointed. There's also talk of love, and... just buy the book. It's fun. You'll enjoy it.
