Catch a Fallen Skyla

Skyla Owens has felt out of step her entire life, deep down she feels out of place, unloved and unwanted.  She has bent over backward trying to please all those around her, especially her mother Juanita Owens but at the expense of her own happiness.  She was raised by a bitter Mother who carries very dark and dangerous secrets.  What Skyla wants the most from her Mother is love and at least the name of her father; and her Mother is refusing both.

Then when her beloved Grandfather Frank Owens suddenly dies he leaves her the first clue in finding the answers to all of her unanswered questions.  That adventure starts in Ireland.  What she finds is a Clan of people living on the Mountains who have been untouched by time.  She has stepped into a world where they believe in Magic, Folklore, Gods, Banshees and Curses.

The answers she does find, no one would ever want.  Prophecy of murder and the death of  hundreds of people.  None of those answers lead to happiness only to maybe her own death.
