C.A.M.P. Phoenix is on a phantom island in the middle of Lake Superior. It is anything but ordinary. The first thing everyone learns upon arrival is that they too are anything but ordinary.

When they decode their names to determine their Destiny, Tyler discovers that he is an Elf. He is assigned to the bunkhouse of Boar along with a Metamorph, an Apothecary, an Alchemist, a Witch, a Vampire, a Werewolf, a Dragon and a Firebird. This is one story of their first summer together.

The young wizards have to adjust to their new surroundings and the fact they are all very special. Part of their wizard training involves normal things they can email home about like canoeing and taking karate lessons but the rest they keep to themselves.

They break the rules and solve mysteries but spend most of their time learning magic. They endure grueling hours practicing wand movements and memorizing spells. Each Destiny focuses on special areas but they learn the real power in their magic is in the bonds of friendships. Individually, they are just awkward misfits but together the wizards of Boar house surprise even the Archmage.
