Excuse me a minute. This jex is really eating up my stomach, so I need to eat some grass. Ah, I feel so much better. Oh, wait another sec. I have an itch back here behind my shoulder. Have to sit down and really stretch my hind leg so I can reach it. Just a little further. Ah, that feels so good. Hey, I don't smell a dog on you, so what are you doing here at a dog park?

Oh. Your mommy is smart. That's a good idea. What? Oh, see that little dog leaving with his human? I ate the jex so he wouldn't get it.

Let's run up this hill! Don't you wanna? You wanna?

S'okay. I'll circle around and make sure you don't get too far behind. See? The easiest way to explain jex is to tell you about the first time I mined it. I was barely a year old and had just been adopted by my humans, the ones who love me.

My female human introduced me to jex. She doesn't know, of course. No humans can know dogs are aliens.

Yeah, you're a human, but you're not five years old yet. If you tell, they'll think you made it up, and by the time you're old enough to be believed, you'll have forgotten. Anyway, just like you, I didn't know what to expect, my first time here at the dog park.
