Book 3 of 5 in the Bubby Anthology.

Bubby is matched up in the most uneven fight of his career. The Auspicious Avenger (killed in Bubby II) returns as AA7 (Double-A Seven) to destroy Bubby. Backed by the all-powerful, all-evil Shadow Master, is failure an option for AA7? No; and that is exactly why Bubby is in for the ride of his life. Can Bubby do it again, or will he be found 6-feet under?

Review
As if reading my mind, B. P. Draper uses the third Bubby episode to develop his characters further. In fact, when Bubby becomes concerned that he is not receiving enough page time, Dat (his supercomputer), comments, "I'm sure that the 'big man,' as you call him, is just improving his writing skills by developing characters and spending time creating a meaningful plot," to which Bubby replies, "You really think so? I'm not sure he's quite that talented." With a surprise ending that no one in their right mind would conceive, Bubby III sets up the confrontation of the century for Bubby IV. --Braden Erp
